If Perrotta is fit, I will choose the following midfield:

Roma / Milan: Daniele De Rossi, Simone Perrotta, Andrea Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso

Perrotta with his experience will be more helpful than Aquilani in the beginning. I will have Aquilani as a sub for his youth. Gattuso was almost tired against Netherlands but I don't think Donadoni can ignore this top midfielder. Ok, I make Pietro happy and admit your milanista Gattuso is among the best.

Pietro, Anna, come on guys PO PO PO PO PO PO

Man, a tough decision. I will go for the other Roman/ Milan combo because i am trying to be objective and not a milan fan, right now we have to think what is best for Italy.

Roma / Milan: Daniele De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso, Alberto Aquilani

I will have Ambrosini and Perrotta as subs.

Mark, here I come, ready? ok pal, PO PO PO PO PO PO PO

I agree with you 100% Pietro and Mark.... Combination of Pirlo/Gattuso and DDR/Aquilani.... I wouldn't mind to see ambro when we have 2 goals lead and around the 75th minute... I feel that he got hammered by us and the press unfairly when in fact it was Don and his crazy formations of 3 man midfield that made him look bad.He had an excellent season with Milan when playing along side KAKA and Seedorf as player makers to support pirlo and him and gattuso as DM...
I'm still skeptical about the game and our chances of going through to the knockout stages...

Pietro, you know what i like about you?It is your never dying spirit.Bravo,we need someone like that around here and especially now.I apologize for my skepticism to you,Mark,Anna, and Milan99,but i can't help it. Maybe after the Friday game and the game against France and with positive result ...Maybe only then i can breathe, cause right now, i feel crushed..I feel like i have been slammed against a wall of steel...I hope you guys can excuse my comments till then..I would put my life on the line for the Azzurri, but it is not in my hands...If they win well and good, if they don't then we can learn a lesson and prepare for 2010.

Nina, i have to believe in our guys no matter what. Man, that Donadoni made many mistakes but can you believe what will happen if our Azzurri find out they have no support from their fans? Wow, man, can you imagine Del Piero, Buffon, Cassano, De Rossi, Pirlo all our guys if coming out for support and finding anybody? No, girl, man, i got to be there standing to give an inch of moral support. I forgive you and understand your disappointment but the faces of my guys are in front of me and so i gotta sing PO PO PO PO PO PO PO and wave my Italian flag.
