     I also agree that without GIGI, excuse me, without Saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon Italy would have maybe 1 less world cup.
     
     Also, it will be whether Donadoni is considering Del Piero as one of the permanent starting lineups. Panucci? Yes, he has more caps but there is no way he can be a better captain than Buffon or Del Piero...
     
     Bottom line, if the only UNTOUCHABLE right now is Buffon, then, he would be most likely the Captain.
