Inter President Massimo Moratti Meets Mourinho in Paris at the "Restaurant Le Tour D'Argent" TODAY Saturday, May 31!
The secret is out! Moratti ready to spend even 30 million for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o! Funny thing is that Milan is also talking about Eto'o. According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter President Massimo Moratti was caught today in Paris having lunch with the new Inter Coach alias "The Special One" Jose Mourinho.

Why they had to meet all the way in Paris? Hello, with such a heavy turmoil in Inter between Moratti and former coach Roberto Mancini, plus all the media, you bet it would have been almost impossible to keep a low profile and touch up latest transfer market arrangements concerning the Birth of the "so-called" new Inter.
Wonder what kind of birth! Natural birth or Cesarean ... just kidding.
Challenge for Mourinho is to keep at least the leadership in the Serie A as Mancini did in the last 2 years. Though, the biggest challenge is to win the Champions League, which is the real reason why Moratti is hiring the special one and spending not pocket change to sign top players but MILLIONS!
So, my friends, transfer market conspiracy is at its maximum level right now. How about Didier Drogba, is he in Mourinho's package too?

Do you think this "new Inter" will really work, why and why not?

The new Inter has to work. Or else Mourinho is gone too. I think Mourinho wants to win the Champions League more than the Scudetto.
I want to know what former FC Porto players he'll bring with him. Will he buy Ricardo Quaresma? Why Paris and not another city?

Monica I am afraid Inter will be dominated now by Portuguese and leaving out the Argentinians, I hope it works but tradition for Inter has been Argentinians like the Brazilians for Milan.

Monica I totally agree that Mourinho's main goal is not the Scudetto but the Champions League, Inter starts to sound like Milan putting emphasis in International competitions. I am still wondering why meeting all the way in Paris... so intriguing, don't you think?

Anna I don't know about this mystery and not all Inter fans are happy with the way Moratti is doing business. I just hope the whole thing won't backfire because Mancini did a good job but not having the full support from Moratti caused the internal division.
What will happen if Mourinho doesn't qualify Inter in the Champs?

It will not work. If the special one is so good why didn't he win the CL with Chelsea? Is one time Victory with Porto good enough? I will be rooting for all Italian teams in the champs, but I predict English dominance again.

Nina that is my pint and why I am so worried for my Inter. Mourinho could be all Special One but he could not won with Chelsea having top players and you are right one victory with Porto is not enough. I will make you guys happy with this comment, is not that Mourinho compares to your Ancelotti winning not only once the Champions League but he also managed to win the UEFA Cup and Fifa Best Club without having a fit team and most old players, that Ancelotti should be called "the Special One" Don't you think?
Pietro, Anna and milan99 will be in heaven when reading my comment.

Mark, Ancelotti won the champions league twice not just once (2003, 2007) the second one being a miracle with older player who were not fit at the time as you said. He reached the final of CL 3 times in 5 years winning on two occasions, and that is a record in all of Europe. The special one failed to reach the final with Chelsea. Ancelotti is also one of 3 coaches who won the CL both as a coach and as a player. The special one may be special in England or Portugal, but the record says Ancellotti is better in CL. Complements for our Daddy as Milan99 would say and coming from an interista is sweeter though. Thank you

Nina that is why I said you milanisti were going to be happy with my comment because I am not blind and if we compare Mourinho's record with Ancelotti, "The Special One" is your Ancelotti.
I mentioned it because I am worried as Inter fan that Mourinho might not be the right coach at this time for us, but is already late. So, I am supporting my Inter with or without Mancini.

Man, i can't believe I was missing this important comment from Mark! Wait a minute my friends, let me get my eyeglasses and double read again, man, does it says that "the Special One" is our father Ancelotti? No, this is not possible coming from an Interista, really, wait, what have i done today to deserve so much joy. Mark you made my day a bright sunny day. This comment deserves to be framed in gold!

I don't think it will work, but lets wait and see! Mourinho is so great but i don't know why he is always with the wrong owners(Moratti and Avramovich)how ever u spell his name!

You stole my words milan 99! Man, i was about to say the same thing, Mourinho hangs around the wrong owners, but is better than having him around our ex president Berlusconi, don't you think? We rather keep good relations with our father Ancelotti and Galliani and Berlusconi, no place for Mourinho in Milan, he can stay with Moratti. What's your take?

Pietro of course I agree, Father Ancelotti is here to stay and make a great season! Mourinho is great but Ancelotti is GREATER!!! Man to be honest I NEVER liked club owners, they think all bad of their money!

I am with Pietro, Mourinho is great but keep him away from Milanello, we rather have Berlusconi and Galliani backing our father Ancelotti and all rossoneri forming a barrier, right?
