Although the match kept a 1-1 draw until almost the end, destiny prepared a different outcome.

The first goal was in the 30th minute with Lanzafame after an assist from De Silvestri, then, Turkey equalized the score in the 50th minute with Yilmaz.  Finally, the glory, the relief, the pass to the semifinals and second victory for the Azzurrini comes in the 89th minute with Marchisio!

Great card of presentation for Lanzafame who might end up in Palermo after Amauri is heading to Juventus.

The next match for the Italian U21 is on Sunday against the United States who are already out after losing their 2 matches.   Semifinal is on Tuesday against Chile or Japan.

Anna, that was another B-day gift.I watched the match and it was nice, even though I think we didn't play all that great untill little Gio came on and a lot of red cards for a friendly tournement.with coaches like Zola and Casaraghi, the kids are in good hands.
