What a disappointment from Milan!  Challenge was for Milan to beat Napoli and keep the 4th position to guarantee a spot in the preliminary of the Champions League.  Yet, they forgot to concentrate and lost miserably at the San Paolo Stadium.   Hello, Milan, were you aware of the importance of winning???

I have no problem with Napoli and congratulate them for this great victory.
Reality is that the goals from Marek Hamsik, who happens to be one of my favorite players, Domizzi and Garics crashed Milan's dream.

Milan has still a very slim chance to make it to the Champions League but now it  does not depend on themselves.  Milan must beat Udinese and pray non stop for Torino to beat Fiorentina.

It's so frustrating to live this MILAN ROLLERCOASTER!!! Suffering the whole season with such inconsistent performance.  Napoli dominated the match while Milan seemed lost!  Unrecognizable!

Point is that Fiorentina beat Atalanta and took back the 4th position!!!!  With only 1 match Milan risk not being in the Champions League next year!  This is why I am so mad as millions of Milan fans!

In the 25th minute, Milan striker Super Pippo Inzaghi missed the chance to open the score after getting an assist from Milan defender Daniele Bonera.  Inzaghi heads the ball towards the left from the center of the box but misses!!!!

First goal arrives in the 36th minute, Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik shoots from the center of the box directly to the bottom left corner blasting Milan goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac!
Napoli 1 - 0 AC Milan

Here is Hamsik celebrating his goal.  Bravo Hamsik. I love Napoli too but my favorite team is Milan.

First half ends with Napoli taking the lead.

In the second half, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti starts with a change.
Christian Brocchi out, Pato in.

In the 46th minute, Milan had the chance to equalize the score when Clarence Seedorf sends an assist to Musica and Magia Kaka who shoots from outside the box to the bottom right corner only to be saved by Napoli goalkeeper Navarro!   Madonna!!!!!  It would have been a perfect goal.

In the 67th minute, Referee Stefano Farina grants Napoli a penalty after Milan defender Alessandro Nesta commits a foul on striker Ezequiel Lavezzi in the the penalty area.  In the meantime, Lavezzi seemed to have some problems and match is delayed.

Taking the penalty spot is Maurio Domizzi shooting directlty to the top right corner where Milan goalkeeper Kalac could not reach despite being so tall!   Here is a total blast and the party at the San Paolo Stadium explodes with this goal while Napoli players congratulate Domizzi.
Napoli 2 - 0 AC Milan

In the 60th minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes his second substitution.  Defender Giuseppe Favalli is out and Marek Jankulovski in.

The final blow came at the end of the match.  In the 92nd minute, Napoli midfielder Francesco Montervino who just entered a minute ago in place of Marek Hamsik, sends an assist to Gyorgy Garics who shoots from the center of the box to the top sending Milan to the chaos!!!!

Goalkeeper Kalac
is just devastated!!!!  I will say not only him but the entire Milan must be crying deep inside for this terrific and unexpected defeat!!!

Garics run to celebrate his goal and his face says it all!!!!

While Garics is all joy, just look at Milan goalkeeper Kalac..... bottom disillusion!!!

In the 88th minute, Napoli coach Edy Reja makes his seond substitution. Striker Ezequiel Lavezzi is out and Bogliacino in.  Too bad Lavezzi could not score in this important match.

Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini desperately tries to help Milan but Napoli is not allowing any opportunities.

In the 90th minute, Napoli almost scored the 4th goal!!!! Wow, that would have been the real KILLER GOAL!.  Milan defender Marek Jankulovski concedes a corner and Hamsik sends an assist to striker Roberto Sosa who missed the target !!!!

In the 91st minute, Napoli Coach Edy Reja makes his last substitution. Midfielder Marek Hamsik is out but leaving the filed  surrounded by the applause of thousands of Napoli fans while is the turn for Montervino.  Well done Hamsik.  It makes me feel happy for Hamsik because he is having a great season!

At least Milan scored "an honor goal" to save their faces.  In the 94th minute, Garics commits a foul on Pato  and Milan gets a free kick.     Serginho sends the assist to great Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf shooting from outside the box to the bottom left corner blasting finally Napoli goalkeeper Navarro.
Napoli 3 - 1 AC Milan

What was supposed to be a party for Milan to celebrate their return to the 4th position ended up a NIGHTMARE called "Napoli."  Milan is now back to the 5th position because Fiorentina beat Atalanta and took back the 4th position.  Will it be ciao ciao Champions for Milan?  Is this the end?

Imagine myself!!!! I could not even finished writing the article because my frustration was huge and rather went out to celebrate Mother's day with my daughter.

Milan seemed to lose touch with reality at the San Paolo!
