Is Palermo going nuts by giving up to Amauri, Zaccardo, Barzagli and Simplicio? Am I missing something???

By Anna Italia

I am so upset!  Why?

First, it was Brazilian striker Amauri leaving Palermo to go to Juventus.

Now, it's Cristian Zaccardo going to GERMANY, and let's not forget beloved Luca Toni who ended up in Fiorentina to later transfer to Bayern Munich.

I must say that the news of Amauri leaving Palermo did not affect me that much but ZACCARDO???? That really hit me to the bottom of my heart just like the time when midfielder Aimo Diana left to go to Torino.

Today, in Eurosport there was the confirmation that CRISTIAN ZACCARDO signed for 8 million euro for the German team Wolfsburg.

What's going on???!!! Say what???? Is not that Zaccardo is going to Bayern Munich..... Why does he has to leave??????  I wouldn't be mad if he transfer to Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Roma, Chelsea, the big guys... but Wolfsburg????

Andrea Barzagli
also leaving?

The other news, although it was denied, is that midfielder Fabio Simplicio will go to AC MILAN.  Simplicio says that he has not received any offers and is 100% sure to stay in Palermo. Oh well... this until some big $$$$$ arrives.

What a bad news of Zaccardo leaving!  I cannot get over that news. NOOOOO, just NOOOOO, simply NOOOOO.

I am so mad because Palermo will never be "a big team" if they get rid of their best players instead of keeping them to become really big.  I had it with Palermo President Zamparini.   I am so mad.

What do you think of the transfer market from Palermo?

Palermo is underperforming for the 24 mil in wages they are paying per season. They are getting rid of the players with the higher salaries. As for their replacements, I don't know what Zamp is up to, whether he will be active on the transfer market or go with youth. AC Milan pays 120 mil in salaries, 5 times that of Palermo. Palermo can never compete with that.
