Inter were mentally in a better position than us, the pressure was all on us, says Milan Forward Filippo Inzaghi on the MILAN DERBY

I am still celebrating Milan's victory against Inter and wearing proudly my Milan jersey.  AC Milan 2 - 1 FC Inter

It's such a joy to see Milan back in the race for a post in the Champions League next year.  It would have been a disaster and a great humiliation for Milan fans to see Inter celebrating winning the Scudetto precisely during the MILAN DERBY and in SAN SIRO!!!!  Wow.... I would have collapsed! 

I love the words of Super Pippo Inzaghi given in the Italian show "Controcampo Diritto di Replica" and include them here courtesy of acmilan.com: 
 
"Our primary objective was to reach the fourth place, then clearly we wanted to give our fans a great match against a special opponent. We played very well, Inter were mentally in a better position than us, the pressure was all on us, Milan were the ones with everything to lose. In any case I'm already looking forward, on Sunday at Naples we are playing for the Champions League."

 "I must be infinitely grateful to my team mates, this Milan exalts my characteristics and plays to perfection for a striker. Although, Milan reached the 4th position with 61 points,it is not granted that MILAN already secured the position.   There are two more matches and Fiorentina  who are only 1 point behind Milan can steal the position back, as well as Udinese  with 57 points.
