Challenge was for Cagliari Coach Davide Ballardini to beat Livorno and grasp the 3 points to save themselves and not going down of the Serie A Standings.
Despite the early goal of Livorno in the 2nd minute with Livorno defender Fabio Galante, Cagliari managed to win the match. The heroes are goalkeeper Marco Storari and striker Robert Acquafresca author of the two goals for Cagliari.
This victory puts Cagliari in the 16th position with 32 points while Livorno went down to the bottom of the Serie A Standings with 29 points!
