                                     CAGLIARI  3 -  0  TORINO

Prayers are being answered!!!   Cagliari is surviving, struggling to remain in the Serie A.  Challenge was to beat Torino to grasp the 3 points and they DID!!!!  It was a great match for young striker Robert Acquafresca scoring a doppietta / two goals and one assist!!!

In the 11th minute, a ray of hope for Cagliari! Striker Robert Acquafresca sends an assist with a headed ball to Jeda who shot from outside the box to the bottom right corner.
Cagliari 1 - 0 Torino

I am so happy because Cagliari Goalkeeper Marco Storari could stop a penalty shot!  Just when Cagliari was winning 1 - 0, in the 19th minute Referee Girardi grants Torino a penalty for a handball in the penalty area.  Taking the spot is striker Davide Di Michele. There he was one on one with Marco Storari. Gee, I just wanted STORARI to save.  Oh what a relief!  Unbelievable, Di Michele could not believe it!   STORARI STOPPED THE PENALTY!!!  What a relief for Cagliari fans at the Sant'Elia stadium!

Unbelievable guys!   Two mintues later, in the 21st minute, Referee Girardi grants a penalty to Cagliari for a foul committed by Torino midfielder Simone Barone in the penalty area.

                                                Simone Barone and Conti

Taking the spot is striker Robert Acquafresca.  A duel one on one against Torino goalkeeper Sereni. Acquafresca gets set and shoots to the bottom left corner! Now it's true. Cagliari is winning with 2 goals!  Salvation is near!  Acquafresca did not miss it!  The ball went directly to the net!!!!
Cagliari 2 - 0 Torino

In the 56th minute, the party for Cagliari just exploded!  Striker Robert Acquafresca shoots from outside the box to the left corner after a headed assist by Andrea Parola.  What a match for Acquafresca!!!
Cagliari 3 - 0 Torino

Although Cagliari won, they are still in the last position with 21 points.  Slowly but surely, their objective is to leave the relegation zone.  I like Torino, but, hey, I also like Goalkeeper Marco Storari as one of my favorite players!

I wasn't expected them to win, really, man. It surprised me to see this post with great news about Cagliari and that Acquafresca why not Berlusconi signing him for Milan instead of going abroad looking for strikers? What's your take guys? Amauri or Acquafresca for Milan? Forgot to congratulate you Anna for your goalkeeper Storari stopping that penalty hope you are not changing him for your saintgoalkeeper Buffon.

Pietro I believed in STORARI words "we are not giving up." Hey, at least they gotta win this match because the next two are with ROMA and MILAN... Honestly, I don't think they can beat any of those. Unless, Roma returns exhausted after playing Man U, then, it might be possible. I don't think neither Suri nor Kenntak will be happy about it...
