Did Kaka do the right thing by signing with AC MILAN until 2013 instead of moving to Real Madrid or Chelsea?

Finally, Musica and Magia RICARDO ISECZON DOS SANTOS LEITE, better known simply as KAKA, confirmed his desire to stay with AC MILAN by extending his contract until June 30, 2013. Originally, Kaka's contract had the expiration date in 2011.
So, Kaka's message to Real Madrid and Chelsea is clear, at least by the signing of his contract, I don't want your offers but staying with Milan.
Question is whether should Milan fans be happy about it and if this is a sign that KAKA will be replacing beloved Captain Paolo Maldini as the new Captain.
I agree with Milan President Silvio Berlusconi that Kaka is a symbol for Milan. However, I disagree just a little bit about Kaka's 100% commitment for Milan. Honestly guys, I hope he proves me wrong because he can be one of the best symbols of the rossoneri.
In the past, his constant "misinterpreted words" confused many Milan fans about his commitment for the rossoneri. I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
Berlusconi said, 'Kaká has made this decision. He always had the conviction, but never as strong as in the last few months. Kaká is a symbol of the football expressed. At the moment he is the best footballer in the world, and he's surrounded by great players, like Pirlo, Seedorf, who give this team a lot of quality. With these players Milan are the defending European Champions and World Champions.'
No doubt KAKA is the best footballer right now. Also, agree that he is surrounded by great players like Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf. It is the same situation as of former Milan star Andriy Shevchenko. Sheva was the best because not only he had great individual technique, but also because the team was formed around him. What happened when Sheva left Milan?.... not even worth mentioning.
In other words, had KAKA moved to REAL MADRID or CHELSEA, I don't think they will have accommodate the team to fit KAKA's game.
I remember when I went to SHEVA's first training with Chelsea, precisely, here in Los Angeles. I could not hold my resentment for him abandoning the team after promising "not ever leaving because he loved Milan and the fans" and had to tell him so in person.
Same, I will do if KAKA leaves the team. I will follow him to tell him personally my discomfort. Right now, I am happy with KAKA staying with MILAN and want to believe that he will become a strong symbol.

Being a flag and symbol of a team is a great responsibility. I do hope KAKA once and for all start compensating MILAN fans with a true commitment and no more misinterpreted words.

I totally understand your doubts Anna because i feel the same way about Kaka's constant rumors of wanting to leave Milan if things don't go his way. Right now, i will take your words and give him the benefit of the doubt, just like you I want Kaka to prove me wrong because MILAN comes first.
