As I mentioned in my Prevew, the only way that Inter could have ben stopped or get a draw was with  a concentrated striker Antonio Cassano and Sampdoria goalkeeper to transmit to their teammates that Inter is not invincible.

Sampdoria fans experienced the joy of beating the almighty Inter in the 65th minute with a goal from striker Antonio Cassano after a cross from Sammarco.  Cassano sends the ball  into the box  with  a right-footed shot  blasting Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar. Hey, you bet Inter coach Roberto Mancini felt the cold shower falling thinking in a possible defeat after losing in the UEFA Champions League against Liverpool.

It was clear that Inter struggled. Sampdoria was not in the mood of losing and Antonio Cassano succeeded to motivate not only his teammates, but also Sampdoria fans chanting enthusiastically for their team.

In the 76th minute, Inter Argentinian striker Hernan Crespo brough a smile back to Inter fans when equalizing the score.  Dejan Stankovic sends a cross to Crespo who just blasted with all his strength the net of Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazzi.

In the 81st minute, Inter coach Roberto Mancini substitutes Hernan Crespo for Maniche.  Wonder if he is saving Crespo for the Champions League?  I hope so.
Today, it was the "BIG DAY OF CRESPO." He leaves the field with a round  applause from Inter fans and his teammates.

This draw finds Inter with 60 points followed by Roma with 51 points and Juventus with 47 points. It seems Inter is getting tired.  Challenge is for Coach Roberto Mancini to find a magic stratety with an effective formation for the second leg of the UEFA Champions LEague at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium.  Will he use Crespo in the starting lineup?

Might be a good result for Roma and Milan but not for us, at least Crespo saved us from defeat.

I am glad for the result and for powerful Crespo, too! He actually saved Inter to face a loose! But we all know that it almost-loose needed us! But Crespo was the salvation there to face a shameful loose after lost to Liverpool for 2-0!
