RESULT UEFA CUP: Fiorentina 2 - 1 Rosenborg "Fiorentina ready to beat ROMA in the Olimpico, Motivation is high... but Can They Do It?"
By Anna Italia
Talking about being on fire and motivated to retain the 4th position in the Serie A! Fiorentina beat today Rosenborg in the UEFA CUP qualifying to the last 16 stage of the Uefa Cup with a 3-1 aggregate.
Great performance by Fiorentina strikers. Adrian Mutu was superb, especially in the 7th minute sending a long pass to Franco Semioli with a clear message to ROMA that they better watch out on Sunday when they meet for the Serie A Twenty Fourth Round.
After Semioli got the cross from MUTU, he just shoot making Rosenborg goalkeeper Rune Jarstein see the "STARS" when he dived to anticipate striker Giampaolo Pazzini!!! Way to go VIOLA!

It seems the combo Liverani - Ujfalusi - Pazzini is working. So, Coach Cesare Prandelli might keep the same formation on Sunday to beat Roma. Boy, I am so nervous for this match!!!!
Fiorentina took the lead in the 37th minute with the well recovered FABIO LIVERANI!
Second goal came in the 78th minute after a cross from Manuel Pasqual to striker Daniele Cacia who came in as a substitute!

Everything was flowing for Florence, who more than thinking on Rosenborg, have their goal set at the OLIMPICO STADIUM where they dream to beat Roma to keep the 4th position of the Serie A while keeping away AC MILAN who are only 3 points behind them.
Rosenborg finally scored an honor goal in the 88th minute with Youssouf Koné after getting a pass from Oyvind Storflor from the left.
Well, Fiorentina might smile today because Roma awaits for them at the Olimpico with 11 Roman gladiators and full support of Roma fans.
Gee... what will happen on Sunday... ?

Hey, let's put it this way: WIN OR WIN, period. Any of the team must believe this moto because I don't think they will go to the field to "DRAW." Rather have the 3 points. Don't you think?
