TORINO Coach Walter Novellino Crowned as the "KING OF DRAWS"

Challenge was for Torino and Parma to win this match not only to save their respective jobs, but to avoid the relegation zone.  This spectacular draw helped only TORINO while Parma remains in the 18th position and starting to head directly to the Serie B.  Question is whether Parma will finally sack Coach Domenico Di Carlo or until when?

For Parma, striker Andrea Gasbarroni was the man that gave the illusion of Parma to win this match and save Parma coach Domenico Di Carlo job when Gasbarroni equalized the score in the 28th minute with a direct free kick. Gasbarroni  shoots a right footed shot from outside the box to the very top left corner giving Parma the advantage in the 32nd minute.  Torino 1 - 2 Parma.

Just before going to the half time, Parma midfielder Stefano Morrone scored the third goal from outside the box to the top right corner  in the 42nd minute. It was a total cold shower for Torino fans because a minute later, in the 43rd minute, Igor Budan scored the fourth goal!  Torino 1 - 4 Parma

Yet, Parma's happiness lasted only 3 minutes when in the 45th minute Torino defender Cesare Natali headed from close range after an assist by midfielder Alessandro Rosina. Match was reopen.  Hope was still there for the GRANATA.  Torino 2 - 4 Parma.

Great merit goes to TORINO who were losing three goals against two. Suddenly, it appeared that TORINO was hurt in their profound pride that in the second half they just started playing seriously.  The man of the match definitely has to be Torino striker Roberto Stellone who not only opened the score for Torino in the 11th minute but motivated the team when scoring the third goal in the 68th minute from the center of the box to the bottom left corner after an assist by Alvaro Recoba.  Torino 3 - Parma 4

The miracle happened in the 85th minute.  Torino striker David Di Michele must have thanked ALL SAINTS when scoring the fourth goal  saving the Toro from a defeat.   Striker Roberto Stellone heads the ball to Di Michele and he shoots from the center of the box to the bottom left corner! Goal.... Torino 4 - Parma 4

You bet this time Torino Coach Walter Novellino would praise this draw!  Hey, Novellino might not be winning matches, but this is his 14th draw, sounding  like a victory considering they were practically losing.

So, I will not sack Novellino, but sack immediately Parma Coach Domenico Di Carlo who could not manage the victory and keeping Parma in the relegation zone.

Way to go TORO!!!!

What a match, i was delighted seeing the second half of Torino. I agree with you Anna that the man of the match was Stellone and for the moment i think Novellino's job is saved.
