Milan barely recovering injured players cannot afford to lose against Parma. Milan will have a tough match after the morale of the team was shaken with news of Ronaldo being out practically for the season after  severing the tendon of his left knee during the AC Milan 1 - 1 AS Livorno.

Yet, Parma also is in bad shape. Sure, they don't have to play the Champions League, as Milan must next week against Arsenal.

Surprisingly, Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti risk losing against Parma by not including in the starting lineup midfielder Andrea Pirlo and striker Alberto Gilardino. Again, Ancelotti prefers goalkeeper Kalac over Dida.

Ancelotti presens a 4-4-1-1 formation with Super Pippo Inzaghi leading the attack behind with kaka.

Referee Dondarini whistles the beginning of the match.

In the 6th minute, first corner kick goes to Parma. Giulio Falcone tries to blast the net towards the near post but Milan goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac clears the danger.

Immediately, Super Pippo Inzaghi counterattacks and shots from outside the area withoug having enough time to kick a strong, the ball goes weak.

In the 10th minute, Milan get their first corner kick Serginho sends a ball to Emerson in the middle.  Parma goalkeeper Bucci blocks the ball when Emerson tries to head the ball.

In the 18th minute, Milan waste a chance to open the score when Kaka sends a right footed shot over the bar!  Mamma mia!  What a luck!

Great intervention by Milan defender Alessandro Nesta in the 22nd minute. Stefano Morrone shoots form outside the area and Nesta ready to defend the rossoneri clears the danger. Well done Nesta!

In the 23rd minute, corner kick for Parma. Great work by Gattuso when Stefano Morrone shoots from outside the area trying a bicycle kick, the roaring lion Gennaro Gattuso blocked Morrone!!!!  Excellent! Though, immediately Morrone tries again and midfielder Massimo Ambrosini deflects the ball over the bar.  Well done guys!

In the 24th minute, Kaka sends a strong shot from outside the area but the ball goes to the left of the goal. No chance.  Oh mamma mia!  What's going on with Milan...  losing the final touch.

In the 25th minute, Parma eager to open the score and more decisive than Milan. Stefano Morrone shoots on goal, luckily Milan goalkeeper Kalac saves!!!!!!  I keep saying that it was a mistake not having Andrea Pirlo in this first half.  Wonder whether Ancelotti will call him back or save him for the Champions League against Arsenal, I understand that decision. But, hey, it is clearly that Milan is not reading this match.

In the 26th minute, Luca Cigarini gets a free kick from the edge of the area and the PANTERA EMERSON clears the ball.  Great. Well done Emerson!

In the 29th minute, again, Luca Cigarini gets a free kick from outside the area, the ball is deflected by the wall.  Defender Kakha Kaladze clears the ball then for a corner.

Oh no, Cafu gets a yellow card for a foul on Pisanu in the 29th minute.

Ok, now, Parma takes the corner kick in the 30th minute. No chance, Kaladze clears the ball when Fernando Couto tries to get the ball.

I am not liking this first half at all.  I see Parma more aggressive and Milan without a clear direction. BRING PIRLOOOOOOOO....

In the 34th minute, oh madonna!!! A free kick by Cigarini finds Reginaldo sending a header to be deflected by Milan goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac!   I am telling you guys, Parma is attacking more and more.  Something is not clicking in Milan.  I keep saying that Ancelotti should have started with Andrea Pirlo and Kaka together.  Kaka alone seems not enough for Milan right now.

In the 36th minute, Parma gets another corner kick with Paolo Castellini.  Oh what a luck for Castellini, the ball goes out.

In the 39th minute, Parma keeps attacking the rossoneri.  Andrea Pisanu almost score!!!!!

This is becoming an all Parma attack.  In the  43rd minute, Dessena comes near scoring cleared by Alessandro Nesta heading the ball away!!!!

Guys, I think Ancelotti made a mistake by not having midfielder Andrea Pirlo.  Milan needs Pirlo to read this match where Parma is presenting many problems for the rossoneri.  Let's hope Ancelotti will make necessary changes because this first half is ending 0 - 0.

Let's see what happens in the second half.  I hope Ancelotti awakens the player and make necessary changes.

Oh, hallellujah!!!!  Ancelotti is bringing back ANDREA PIRLO!!!! Just about time!  Let's hope Andrea Pirlo can help the team read the match well because the first half Parma was ruling.

In the 46th minute Ancelotti substitutes Serginho for Alberto Gilardino and Gennaro Gattuso for Andrea Pirlo.

In the 47th minute, excellent, Andrea Pirlo gets a free kick rightly towards the goal only to find Parma goalkeeper Bucci punching the ball away!   Don't worry Pirlo, come on, !

In the 51st minute, Milan seems more covinced to get a victory. Totally different from the first half. Defender Kakha Kaladze clears a cross from the right by Dessena. Immediately, Milan counterattack!

In the 52nd minute, Andrea Pirlo sends a ball for Kaka but he could not control the ball.  Oh my!!!!!

I am not liking this match. No goals yet???!!!!  What's happening to Milan. Uffa... and think that they will play against Arsenal next week!!!!

In the 64th minute, Parma coach Domenico Di Carlo substitutes Reginaldo for Igor Budan and Cristiano Lucarelli for Andrea Gasbarroni.

Guys this is not possible. I don't see Milan sharp!  More or less the match improved with Andrea Pirlo, but no final conclusion when it comes to score!

Oh madonna! Igor Budan just entered the field and already sends a shot!  Thanks God goalkeeper Kalac was there to block the ball!

Just about time, in the 68th minute, Musica and Magia KAKA sends a powerful shot but Parma goalkeeper Bucci deflects the ball!!!!  This is not possible, when are the goals coming!!!

In the 69th minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes his third substitution. Marek Jankulovski out, Paolo Maldini in.

In the 75th minute, Parma Coach Domenico  Di Carlo substitute Luca Cigarini for McDonald Mariga.

In the 76th minute, former Parma star Alberto Gilardino tries to open the score for Milan after defender Paolo Maldini sends a cross from the left. uffa... Gilardino tries to head the ball but it goes over the bar!!!!! Oh what a wasted chance!

In the 78th minute, another wasted chance for Milan when Super Pippo Inzaghi sends a shot over the bar!!!
But this is not over... immediately, Inzaghi again, try to open the score but Parma goalkeeper Bucci saves, the ball rebounds and Gilardino tries his luck too but Zenoni blocks it!!!!! uffa... it seems Milan is awakening!

In the 80th minute, Mariga commits a foul on Alberto Gilardino

It seems "una partita maledetta," a cursed match.  10 more minutes and no goals.  This is not good for Milan because  they are still struggling to reach the 4th position in the Serie A. Two points behind Fiorentina, and if Fiorentina win tomorrow the difference will be 5 points!!!

In the 82nd minute, Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini sends a ball right over the bar!  Oh no!  It is a cursed match!  The only happy one should be Parma coach Domenico Di Carlo who might keep his job for few more weeks.

In the 84th minute, Mc Donald Mariga is off side when he tries to volley the ball in only to be block by the "blessed feet" of goalkeeper Kalac!!!!

In the 89th minute, oh mamma mia!!!! Andrea Pirlo sends a ball, rebounce, Emerson tries to shoot from this rebound but the ball goes over the bar!!!! This is too much, I can't believe it!!!! How many balls over the bar???!!!!

Referee Dondarini indicates 3 minute stoppage time.... I am afraid this will be a draw... cannot believe Milan wastes a precious golden moment to get the 3 points!!!! I only hope they play better in the Champions League on Wednesday against Arsenal. By the way, Arsenal just lost today against Manchester United in the FA Cup by 2 goals!  Oh well, this is good news.

In the 90th minute, Budan shoots making all Milan fans tremble when it seems it was a chance to score. Thanks God goalkeeper Kalac deflects for a corner.

Last minutes guys and this will be over....

In the 91st minute, Mc Donald Mariga takes the corner kick, again, Milan is saved  when the defense cleared the ball for another corner.

In the 92nd minute, Luca Cigarini takes the corner kick... oh... what a save, it has to be the day of KALAC!  He grabs the ball!   Milan saved by KALAC!!!

That's it guys.... Referee Dondarini whistles the end of the match!

What a shameful draw for the rossoneri.  This draw only benefits Parma to avoid falling in the relegation zone and saving Coach Domenico Di Carlo from being sacked!  I think Ancelotti failed to select his starting line up, especially by not having midfielder Andrea Pirlo in the first half along with Kaka. It was clear that the rossoneri could not read the match well until Pirlo arrived in the second half.  Alberto Gilardino failed to deliver the winning goal for Milan against his ex team Parma.  The big hero is goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac.

You are right this was una partita maledetta! I agree that Pirlo brought a whole new change in the second half but it seems every time our guys shoots on goal they thought about the match with Arsenal because could not concentrate enough to center the ball. I did not like this match, then we are leaving Fiorentina taking the 4th position, i hope they lose tomorrow. What's your take?

Disgusted by this result, Carlo started a pathetic formation and the minute i saw it I knew it wasn't going to work.
As i said, Milan don't know how to play without Pirlo. If he had to get injured, we woudl be in big s**t.

But onto the positives, Kalac was AGAIN fantastic and Nesta too. The thing is nesta is playing with a back problem (and speaking from experience, it is hell playing with a sore back) and he had the better game out of all. Are the rest lacking motivation or what?

Anyway, lets look forward to Arsenal!
