This is the crucial match for Milan, a match that cannot lose. Losing will be granting the fourth position to Fiorentina. While for Livorno, a victory can take them from the 15th position to the 12th position.

Surprisingly, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti decides to have goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac and not Dida. Oh, oh, there might be some internal problems with Dida feeling maybe relegated after Kalac's great performance during his absence.

Referee Christian Brighi whistles the beginning of the match.

Here we go guys, it is a win or win for Milan.  In the 2nd minute, action starts with a determined rossoneri. Midfielder Andrea Pirlo shoots from the distance right to the net but Livorno goalkeeper Amelia deflects for a corner.   wow, barely starting and this is action!  Pirlo takes the corner but nothing happens.

In the 6th minute, again, Andrea Pirlo sends a low cross to striker Alberto Gilardino losing the ball to Livorno.

In the 12th minute, midfielder Massimo Ambrosini miss an opportunity to score when Amelia sends the ball away under the crossbar.  Guys, so far, Milan dominates ball possession but no goals.

In the 14th minute, Massimo Oddo combines a cross to Gilardino who drops the ball with his chest only to be cleared by Livorno.

Oh my, my, it is the young Alberto Paloschi!  What a wasted opportunity. In the 16th minute, Andrea Pirlo  makes space for the ball to Paloschi cutting inside the area, shooting, but Amelia saved at the near post!  Wow, this would have been a glorious moment for Paloschi had he scored.  Oh well, come on, still time.

In the 20th minute,Oh, oh, problems for Livorno. Goalkeeper Amelia holding his groin after Gourcuff shoots a powerful ball. This is bad for Livorno, hopefully, Amelia will make it otherwise, Coach Camolese will have to replace him with the second goalkeeper.

In the 23rd minute, a chance for Milan to score when striker Alberto Gilardino shots from outside the area over the bar!!!

Two minutes later, in the 25th minute, Yoann Gourcuff has another chance to score, shooting from 30 yards and the ball goes way over the bar!  What luck!  Despite Milan dominating the match, it seems the ball doesn't want to blast the net.

It seems Goalkeeper Amelia is feeling much better because he is making great movements jumping  at the minimum intention of Milan to blast his net. Luckily for Amelia, Gilardino and Gourcuff have sent the ball over the bar.

In the 39th minute, an offiside by Alberto Paloschi.

In the 40th minute, Goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac makes a save after Filippini almost score for Livorno. Well done Kalac!

In the 43rd minute, Yoann Gourcuff sends a cross from the right hand side for Gilardino. Calculations are not done right and the ball is lost.

In the 44th minute, wow, Andrea Pirlo shots from the distance and Amelia saved, sending the ball away!

Hey, great job from Livorno goalkeeper Amelia!  Definitely, he feels great after complaining from a groin pain.

Oh oh, the one not making it is Livorno star striker Francesco Tavano.  He is leaving the field not with a happy face.  In the 44th minute, Livorno Coach Giancarlo Camolese substitutes Tavano for Alessandro Diamanti.

Referee Christian Brighi signals only 1 minute stoppage time.

That's it. the first half ends 0 - 0.

In the 50th minute, surprise!  Livorno opens the score with Nico Pulzetti shooting from the distance and blasting Milan goalkeeper Zeljo Kalac.
AC Milan 0 - 1 AS Livorno

In the 56th minute, Milan coach makes a double substitution.
Alberto Paloschi out, Filippo Inzaghi in
                 Alberto Gilardino out, Ronaldo in

In the 58th minute, Just when Ronaldo was to get a ball to blast the net, there is a handball by Livorno midfielder Vidigal. This is a penalty!

Hello, excuse me, what's going on. Oh no... Ronaldo falls in pain, mamma mia!  Not again, Ronaldo barely recovering from injury is forced to leave the field on the stretcher! It seems he hurts the tendon of his left knee. This is serious!   Referee Christian Brighi grants a penalty to Milan.

In the 59th minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti forced to make his third substitution Ronaldo out, Serginho in.
Ronaldo played only 2 minutes!  Let's hope he can recover fast. Certainly, it has not been a good season for Ronaldo spending more time in recovery than playing.

In the 60th minute, Andrea Pirlo takes the penalty spot. Oh well, cross your fingers, here is a chance for Milan to equalize the match.  Set, ready, go.... YES, YES, YES, YES, there is goal!!!!!!!!!! Pirlo equalizes the score for Milan who had been dominating the match.

AC Milan 1 - 1 AS Livorno

PIRLO celebrates his goal.  Match is open again!!!!!!!   FORZA PIRLOOOOOO!!!!!

It's now or never guys, come on rossoneri!!!!

In the 65th minute, Super PIPPO INZAGHI makes a brilliant move cut inside the area and shoots while Milan fans cheer constantly, oh no.. .the ball goes straight to the arms of goalkeeper Amelia!!!!!

In the 69th minute, roaring lion Gennaro Gattuso gets a yellow card.

This is not possible guys.  In the 71st minute, Livorno almost takes the lead with a shot from Diamanti!  I am going nuts!  This is madness.

In the 76th minute, Livorno Coach Giancarlo Camolese substitute Tristan for Rossini.

Referee Christian Brighi  gives a yellow card to Tristan for wasting time while leaving the field!

Milan Defender Kakha Kaladze blocking Livorno to pass their field.

In the 84th minute, Livorno Coach Giancarlo Camolese makes his third substitution Vidigal is out, Simone Pavan is in

In the 88th minute, Milan is doing thier best to score but nothing seem to work. Andrea Pirlo shoots from 40 yards straight th to the arms of Livorno goalkeeper Amelia.
Just unbelievale!

You won't believe it guys, but a minute later, in the 89th mintue to e precised, Nico Puzlzetti missed a great chance to leave San Siro in glory when missing a clear chance to score just six yards out in front of goalkeeper Kalac. Livorno coach cannot believe it neither Puzletti himself!

Referee Chrisitan Brighi signals 5 minutes stoppage time.

In the 93rd minute, Serginho cross is stopped by Amelia!   What a luck!  A bad day for Milan who were looking for a victory.

Match is over. That's it guys.  Milan wasted a precious opportunity to grasp the 3 points while Livorno takes a valuable one point keeping them away from the relegation zone.  While Milan dominated the match and had 69.1% ball possession and 10 corners compared to none corners of Livorno, Milan could not convert those opportunities in goals. A big failure for Milan in their quest to the fourth position.

This time the young Italian sensation Alberto Paloschi could not deliver a goal, but don't rush him, there's still time for this young player to mature. Bad news is that Ronaldo will be out again for injury. Wonder until when?

Kenntak sorry you saw the result before watching the match

Anyway, go watch the match, especially the first half where Milan had more ball possession than Livorno, yet could not concretize, convert to goals. Unbelievable, if you read the post and see that Milan had 69.1% ball possession and not scoring a regular goal? Hello..... How could this be! I was mad, they had many chances, maybe that's why AMELIA is the second goalkeeper of the Italian national team. Though, most shoots on goal went OVER THE BAR!!!!!

I will wait for your comments.
