Serie A Week 23: Roma and Juventus Preparation for their big clash in the Twenty Third Round on Saturday, Feb. 16 "BUFFON might play"
By Anna Italia
One of the match not to miss this weekend is the clash between AS ROMA - FC JUVENTUS!
Wow, what a match! Mamma mia! Some of my favorite players are in both teams. How to choose between two great Italian strikers Alessandro Del Piero and Francesco Totti?
Someone gotta win, right? Or maybe a draw? Although Roma is in the second position with 48 points only 8 points behind Inter, Juventus is following closely in the third position with 44 points.

Roma morning training session at 10:45 a.m.at the Centro Tecnico di Trigoria after two days off. Training included warm up exercises, aerobics, abdominals. Goalkeeper Curci trained separately.
Afternoon training session started at 3 p.m. with ball possession, technical tactical drills, and a training match.
Following individual trainings were goalkeeper Curci, defender Christian Panucci, Captain Francesco Totti and defender Cassetti.
FC JUVENTUS
Juventus had only one day off. No morning training session. The afternoon training session included the usual warm-up, technique exercises and played a training match.
Individual training followed by midfielder Mauro Camoranesi, defender Nicola Legrottaglie, Antonio Molinaro and defender Zebina carried out lighter training with fitness coach Andrea Scanavino.

Saint Goalkeeper GIGI BUFFON had the day off today. Hey, it's time to give resting period to Buffon to fully recover. Don't you think?
Gigi will keep his physiotherapy and chiropractics schedule.
Marco Marchionni is also continuing his physiotherapy, after spraining his foot in the Coppa Italia TIM - Italian Cup first leg match against FC Inter. His condition is improving, but it's too early to set a date for his return on the pitch just yet.

How well do you think are their training sessions? Are you cheering for Roma or Juventus and WHY?

It is a tough call, i don't want any to lose. I know Suri and Kenntak for sure will go for Roma if i am not wrong as well as juventino tedesco, but i will go maybe for the draw. I don't know, this is a tough one, how about you Anna ? Here are your favorite players playing against each other. What's your take?

Pietro, do you want to break my heart soon? As a fan, I am cheering for my players DEL PIERO, TOTTI, BUFFON, PERROTTA, DE ROSSI, TREZEGUET... hello, but how could I pick a favorite team from the two??? If we talk in terms of shortening the distance with Inter, than, I will say ROMA should win. Yet, at the same time, I cannot suffer a defeat of Juventus knowing that my "Madonnina - Del Piero and Saint Goalkeeper Giggi Buffon" will be sad. So, as a fan I will go for both.

Hey, guys!
I understand all of you. You know that i'll be for Roma all the way! I am praying for Roma to win and to get another three most-needed points from Juventus! I expect that Roma will win against Juv for 2-3! It will be, of course, though game! MY GOD, God Bless Roma if there is truly the GOD!

I know, it is a tough match. As a fan, Suri, I am for both. Yet, like I told Pietro, if thinking about the Scudetto race then, we don't want INTER to continue flying alone to the top, right?

Yes there is one god and praying everyminute that Juve win and should win against roma.We have all the players fit for this game and i hope buffon is fit to play cause bianconeri needs him.We should have beaten roma the first time we played them this year but it was 2-2.This is mighty juventus not wigan or shefield united you dig.Yes juventus was beaten by inter 3-2 but that's coppa italia the game is played with little tactics it's all out football. Championship is differnt and you will see what i mean on satuarday.2-1 for JUVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, man, if BUFFON is back and all Juve players are fit, then it is a declared war because Roma won't give up easily. Man, just like Anna mentioned, mathematically speaking milan fans are for roma to shorten the distance with Inter but as fans we are also for Juventus, man, let's see what happens.
FORZA BUFFON

Just one question for Anna: Which team are you going to cheer for?
Btw: If we win this top match, all is open again in the battle for spot 2! If not, we'll have to defend the 3rd or 4th rank against Fiorentina and Milan...
Have a nice day/evening.
PS: I hope that Totti will get rested for the Real game.

Ouch! Juventino Tedesco, your "one question" hit me all the way from Germany to California
Uffa... then, wait a minute, if it comes to defend the 3rd or 4th position against my MILAN, then, guys, you better beat Roma because my MILAN will beat Juve.... even with my Saint Goalkeeper Gigi BUFFON.
