Challenge for AC MILAN is to win no matter what. While both teams need the 3 points, Reggina for not reaching the relegation zone, and Milan to reach the 4th position.  Wonder who will win?

In the 17th minute, right after a corner kick from AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo from the left hand side finds striker Alberto Gilardino who was all alone in front of Reggina Goalkeeper.  What else could he do? Hello, Gilardino without wasting a chance shoots and there you go. GOOOOAAAAALLL
Reggina 0 - 1 AC Milan

In the 22nd minute, Milan striker PATO shoots from outside the penalty area but Reggina defender Cirillo stops the action by blocking the ball.

Six minutes later, Milan had a great chance to score.  In the 28th minute, Alberto Gilardino sends a cross to Kaka who could not score even when he was in front of the goal because Reggina defender Aronica just denied him this chance.

Reggina is forming a strong wall to block Milan from increasing the score.

First half ends with Milan taking the lead.

In teh 53rd minute, Luca Vigiani had the chance to equalize the score making Milan tremble.  Vigiani shoots but luckily for Milan the ball goes out.

Reggina Coach Renzo Ulivieri wanting to change the score starts making substitutions.  I think he waited too long to make the first substitutions.

First substitutions for Reggina comes in the 61st minute when Stuani substitutes Fabio Ceravolo.

Apparrently, Reggina is not finding the way to equalize the match.  Milan is all attack.

Reggina Coach Renzo Ulivieri makes the second substitutions in the 68th minute. Emmanuel Cascione out, Barretto in.

In the 72nd minute, Emerson wastes a precious moment in front of goal. Oh my God!  What a terrible mistake by Emerson he could not head the ball.  Mamma mia!!!!

Right after Emerson misses this chance. Andrea Pirlo shoots a free kick from teh edge of the penalty area. Oh no, Milan wastes another chance to score when the ball hits the bar!  Unbelievable!!!

This is dangerous because Milan risk big time if Reggina equalizes the score.

In the 74th minute, Reggina Coach Renzo Ulivieri makes his third substitution Luca Vigiani out, Jose Nunez in.

Nothing is working for Reggina, but neither MILAN can break Reggina's deffense. Milan has the ball, but no goals. Reggina has made many attempts to goal and luckily for Milan, Goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac was there like a big wall protecting the net.

Gennaro Gattuso roaring like a lion to defend Milan.

In the 75th minute, AC Milan striker PATO shoots with his right foot but the  ball goes wide!  What a wasted opportunity.  Things are not working for the young Brazilian.

In the 83rd minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes two substitutions: Pato out, Yoann Gourcuff in.
Andrea Pirlo out, Cristian Brocchi in.

This time the Brazilian Wonder Boy PATO could not shine. Wasted 2 clear chances to score.

In the 89th minute, the newly entered Cristian Brocchi shoots directly to the net only to be blocked by Reggina goalkeeper Campagnolo!!!  Reggina saved by the goalkeeper!

Referee Andrea De Marco signals 3 minutes injury time.  It is a desperate moment for Reggina and Milan. Both trying to score.  Reggina despite making 3 substitutions cannot find the way to score, while Milan finds the road to score but cannot finalize a goal!

In the 90th minute, Yoann Gourcuff had the chance to score but his ball goes high!  Oh no, this is not possible!

In the 92nd minute, Kaka is off side!  One more minute and this is over.

In the 93rd minute, Milan striker Alberto Gilardino author of the only goal is also off side.  Well, this is it!  Milan won!!!

Referee Andrea De Marco whistles the end of the match!!!!! Milan gets the three points and reach 30 points still in the 7th position.

What a day Anna! Milan won with Gilardino! I agree with you that Pato could not do any magic moves while Gilardino this time silenced his critics. Hey, Ancelotti has a tough time deciding which strikers are in shape. Don't you think?

Pietro it is good news!!!! Despite winning with only one goal, what it counts are the 3 points! I am so happy for Milan and Gilardino.
    FORZA MILANNNNN

You got it, Ancelotti has the beautiful problem of choosing between kaka, Pato, and Gilardino! Only Ronaldo is injured.
