Juventus, the Old Lady, instead of rejuvenating seems getting older without being a consistent bull beating so called minor teams, such as Sampdoria and Catania. How to even start this article when there are no goals to narrate? The great almighty JUVENTUS seem to hybernate at home. Unbelievable, after Juventus beat Empoli 5 -3 on Tuesday for the Coppa Italia, it could not beat Sampdoria for the Nineteenth Round of the Serie A. Two draws in a row!
This only makes us doubt about whether or not Juventus is ready to win the Scudetto. If one thinks that FC Inter and Roma-- the other main contenders are winning despite having international competitions with the Champions League, Juventus that has only the Serie A and the Coppa Italia is not taking advantage. It might be that FC Juventus in reality is not ready to win the Scudetto.

I was the first one to believe that Juventus could win the Scudetto when AC Milan started losing precious points in the Serie A for focusing in the UEFA Super Cup, Champions League, and the FIFA World Club. Now, there is a big surprise. Juventus has 37 points while AC Milan has 24 points and 3 pending matches, if Milan win those 3 matches they will reach 36 points. It means that AC Milan might even be a tough contender for the 3rd place. Therefore, Juventus has wasted precious golden points and is disappointing many Juve fans.

Sure, you might argue that Juventus dominated much of the match. Yet, in football that is not enough. What's the point of dominating and not scoring?
Despite Juventus having 5 clear opportunities to score, it could not convert a single one. Forward David Trezeguet, apparently, had a problem with "Lady Luck" when two of his shots went bye bye. One shot hit the crossbar. However, it was Marchionni who had the clear chance to score when he was IN FRONT OF THE GOALKEEPER and sends the ball too high! Oh mamma mia! I could not believe my eyes!

Bottom line guys, neither Trezeguet, nor Vicenzo Iaquinta nor Raffaele Palladino, nor Alessandro Del Piero could score. I can't believe it yet. Talking about a major disappointment. Hello, this was a total disappointment!!!
I wonder what will happen next week in the Twentieth Round of the Serie A when Juventus play against AS Livorno. Not even thinking about the much awaited match against FC Inter on Wednesday for the Coppa Italia at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. If you ask me, I rather see JUVENTUS beating FC INTER than Livorno, if it comes to choosing options. What do you think?

I don't know what to think of Juve but happy because Milan can reach the 3rd position. I agree with you that this was a major disappointment. What's your take?

Pietro, as much as I like Juventus, I must say that this draw it's a huge disappointment! Like you, I am happy for MILAN because the distance will be shortened by only 1 point if Milan win those 3 pending matches. I hope Juventus make it to the top 4 teams! DEL PIEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, what happened Captain???????

As an avid inter fan I'm thrilled with the consistency and strength of the "new" inter.
I attribute a lot to the depth of the squad. Even with injury weakened mid field and less than perfect defense the team keeps on winning. Of course the leadership of Mancini and winning mentality of Zlatan has given the whole team a spirit of confindence and success. For the first time in years I truly beleive they can go all the way. Not only at in Italy but to lift the trophy in Moscow as well.

Henrik I am happy for you because your team is winning big time. Yet, you said it right, "the new Inter." I only hope my Milan starts winning in the Serie A too. Welcome to the blog and look forward for your comments.

I think Tiago needs to leave Juve. What's your thought? Where, I don't know.

We agree on this one Ricardo15 because Tiago is not having enough playing time. Also, he continues saying that he is not happy, i think he should go back to Portugal or in La Liga.

The result surely is a disappointment, but don't forget that this Juve is not the old Juventus from 2 years ago and was playing Seria B last season ... so I just expected the one or other setback after the good season start.
Btw: I simply don't understand your headline question, cara Anna.
Buona notte.
PS: Thanx for your e-mail reply and kudos again for your good job.

I agree that this JUVE is not the "Old Juve," otherwise, ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC would be with Juventus as well as Zambrotta and Cannavaro. Yet, Juventus is strong enough with Pavel Nedved, David Trezeguet, GIGI BUFFON, Alessandro Del Piero, and Mauro Camoranesi (the old guard) to win the Scudetto.
A setback is ok but not against a "small team." I can understand JUVE losing or drawing with Inter, Roma, Milan, but not Sampdoria or Catania, with respect to both teams.
Imagine ANTONIO CASSANO was not even playing. Maybe he would have scored for Sampdoria.
The question is "whether you consider JUVENTUS ready to win the scudetto". I still think they can do it, provided INTER lose a couple of matches.

What a bad luck for Juve, i think they were tired. As for whether they are ready or not to win the Scudetto, i think they do because they have more time to concentrate in the Serie A than Inter, Milan, and Roma. What's your take?

They might have been tired. Yet, no excuse for not scoring a single goal. I don't but this "tiredness" issue. Sure, you bet I think JUVE can win the Scudetto. I would like to see MILAN - INTER - JUVE - and ROMA fight for the scudetto. JUVE cannot be outside the top 4 teams!

Ok i can agree on Juve being among the top teams, they might have a chance to be second if Roma and Milan lose more matches.

NO WAY!!! JUVE WILL NOT WIN THE SCUDETTO

I have never thought about winning the Scudetto this season. Our main goal is reaching spot 2-4 ... and even this will be very tough!

Juventino it is funny how we switch role or thoughts. I am a MILAN FAN, yet, think Juve can win the Scudetto while you are a Juve fan and never thought of winning the scudetto. Realistically, Juve has better chances to win it than Milan. Sadly, Juve has lost sharpness and precious points. Milan lost precious points in the Serie A but won big time in the International level. So, bottom line, I think Juve can make it among the top 4 teams to qualify for Champions League. What's your thought now?
