Roma did it again!!!!

Francesco Totti taking Roma by the hand towards the Scudetto.  Now, it is up to AC Milan to beat Inter tomorrow and the distances will be shorten.  After this victory Roma has 36 points and Inter 40.

What a comeback from TOTTI.  In the 18th minute, after Referee Gervasoni granted Roma a penalty because Sampdoria defender Hugo Campagnaro brought down Roma defener Matteo Ferrari.  There it was, Roma's chance to take the lead.

Who is the courageous to shoot the penalty?

Hey, hey, hey, none other than beloved Captain Francesco Totti!   Totti took position, set the ball, and ALL ROMA FANS praying for him to score....  yes, awesome. TOTTI scored with his trademark "Il Cucchiaio" (the spoon shot) blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi. . Roma 1 - 0 Sampdoria.

The second goal came almost at the end of the match. In the 89th minute, again, TOTTI, the great Roman gladiator got a pass from Marco Cassetti when Totti all alone in front of the net just did what he does best:  Score!.  Roma 2 - 0 Sampdoria.

Watching the game right now on Rai. Hoped Antunes played from the 1st minute. CAssetti is in his place so will see if antunes gets to play in the 2nd half. SO far, Roma is dominating, aggressive. Beware of Bellucci.

It will be wrong from Spalletti not to include Antunues, he already played twice and showed his potential. I am happy for Roma winning right now, but has not been a great match, just so and so. What's your take guys?

Roma was not convincing. Ferrari with a shot on goal? Having to substitute striker Vucinic? Too predictable. I expected a convincing performance at least at the olimpico. And against 10 men from Samp, barely winning. I can only imagine and would have hoped Cassano played to see if Roma really could have won 2-0. I hope Cassano plays in the return match.

Ricardo15 I agree. Roma was not convincing at all! Yet, I am happy for the victory and seeing TOTTI scoring. Roma still need to recover and return playing like they started in the beginning of the Season...

I am very happy to see a Roma win, it seems like it has been awhile. Not the most convincing win, but I will take it. I enjoyed watching some great passes from Totti, I missed those, and seeing him score. Suri should be happy.
