                       CAGLIARI   0 -  2  FC Inter
                                                                      57' Julio Cruz
                                                                      79' David Suazo

Can a miracle hapen in Cagliari?   NO!

Can Cagliari stop Inter from winning?   NO!

Cagliari failed to stop Inter and Inter continue flying up, up, and away!!!!!

Despite not having Inter Super Star Sweden forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, INTER won!  This means that Inter Coach Roberto Mancini can rely on his second group of forwards: David Suazo, Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz. Ibrahimovic can enjoy some resting time without risking Inter's top position.

New was to see the inclusion of Maicon and Walter Samuel because they did not play for the Champions League Matchday 6 PSV Eindhoven - FC Inter.

Sadly for Cagliari fans, they also saw the return of their former star David Suazo now wearing the BLUE AND BLACK colors.

However, Cagliari resisted and did not allow any goals in the first half.  It took Inter 57 minutes to score the first goal by Argentinian forward Julio Cruz with a low shot into the bottom left corner after a pass from David Suazo.  Cagliari 0 - 1 FC Inter.

The next goal arrived in the 79th minute with former Cagliari star Honduran DAVID SUAZO who did not celebrate his goal for respect to his former team. Suazo scored from two yards after a pass from Cordoba. Cagliari goalkeeper Marruoco could not do anything, just observed Suazo's goal.   Cagliari 0 - 2 FC Inter.

Interesting, how Roberto Mancini after seeing a guaranteed victory decided a tactical change by changing his formation from 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2.

Bottom line, there was no MIRACLE in Cagliari.

Saw this game live on Rai international. 1st half, amazed on more than 3 occasions that Suazo missed. When Mancini took off Crespo I thought he was going to take off Suazo because too many opportunities wasted. Cesar came on for Crespo and a few minutes later, Suazo finally scores, Guess Mancini knew best. Suazo was much more dangerous than Crespo so I guess Mancini was right. Glad Pele got a few minutes.

Hey, it's ok for footballers to have on off days! If Crespo was doing very well, Mancini wouldn't have taken him off, right?

Ricardo15 I think Crespo is not fully recovered yet. Sure, he was not at his top performance during the match. Suazo, ex Cagliari, finally scored. Sad, we did not see Crespo scoring.

You made a point. If a footballer is not doing right, a coach might substitute him. I agree with this and this is what happened to Crespo. They are not SUPER HUMANS.

I hope Crespo trained harder this week and recover his top form.

How about you Ricardo15 and Milan99
