An Open Message to AC MILAN Coach Carlo Ancelotti and Players: "PLAY CONCENTRATED WITH TEAM SPIRIT AND BRING THE FIFA WORLD CLUP CUP HOME"

By Anna Italia

On behalf of Italian Soccer Serie A.com and millions of Milan fans worldwide and Italian football fans our message is for AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti and all Milan players to bring home the FIFA World Club Cup.  For our captain Paolo Maldini, it is your chance to settle the score as twice I've won the final but three times I've lost it. So, let's bring the World Club Cup home.

Ancelotti, we already won the
2007 Semifinal FIFA Club World Cup URAWA RED DIAMONDS 0 - 1 AC MILAN Goal by Clarence Seedorf reaching to the big appointment: The Final against Boca Juniors.  Now, it is up to you to prepare a good strategy and for Milan players to execute it well. It is a tough test and we are all supporting you.

Prior departing to Tokyo after Milan guaranteed the passing to the last Sixteen of the UEFA Champions League when beating AC Milan 1 - 0 Celtic  on Tuesday, December3, Ancelotti declared:

'Our adventure begins, we are all motivated to do well. Finally we're there, this World Cup is the main objective of the season. We'll try to bring home another Cup, to cap off a very positive year.'

So, Ancelotti, Dr. Ancelotti, let's finish this 2007 with a good celebration.

Concentration prior each match without underestimating ANY of the teams, but playing with team spirit and that inner drive of Champions that runs in MILAN's DNA. Time to let Boca Juniors who is the real boss in football.
This will be done with dedication and analyzing well Boca Juniors to prepare the winning strategy. I HOPE SO.

Although  the two favorites to win the 2007 FIFA World Club Cup are the Argentinian team Boca Juniors and European champions AC Milan,  Milan should not underestimate neither the  Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds, Mexico's Pachuca, Etoile Sahel or Tunisia, Sepahan of Iran and New Zealanders Waitakere United because they all want to win the match. Overestimating one single team could be a disaster.

Each team require different strategies, let's hope Dr. Carlo Ancelotti find the right strategies for each one and that players can execute those strategies on the pitch, right?

Advantage for Boca Juniors and AC Milan is their respective records of winning  three Intercontinental titles. The challenge is for both to take the lead and win this coveted 2007 FIFA WORLD CLUB CUP becoming the very top club team. Hopefully, it will be AC MILAN the one to prevail.

Milan has higher hopes over BOCA for their conquest of the 2007 UEFA SUPER CUP against Sevilla while BOCA lost the chance to  even reach the finals of the COPA SUDAMERICANA

You might argue that Milan's performance in the local Italian Soccer League has been terrible, but BOCA JUNIORS  has not done a good job in the Argentinian league either. Yet, in the international level, MILAN IS ANOTHER THING: The Very TOP.

MILAN holds the record for most appearances (seven), most goals scored (17) and  five players with the most appearances, including our beloved Alessandro Costacurta, now Ancelotti's assistant.

It is so encouraging to know that Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti and three of his key players, namely Clarence Seedorf, Paolo Maldini and Kaka, all relayed their goals for the tournament to FIFA.com, especially Paolo Maldini insisting on how meaningful it is to win the World Club Cup.  Kaka said,   "We're 100 per cent focused on the job in hand and we want that Cup."

We are praying for you MILAN. We are supporting you like always. Just go and deliver.

The two teams I will be worried are Boca Juniors and Etoile Sahel

BOCA JUNIORS: Although great goalkeeper EL PATO ABBONDAZIERI  is no longer with Boca, BOCA JUNIORS still is one of the best teams in the world. My concern will be with player MARTIN PALERMO, HUGO IBARRA.  I have followed Boca Juniors and know they share a similar DNA as that of Milan. This is why I consider BOCA a danger for Milan. It will require a strong defense (NESTA and MALDINI) and someone to mark PALERMO, the one that can change the match with a single opportunity. Once they are motivated it is like seeing almost the Spanish version of Milan.

Etoile Sahel: One of their strengths is the "resistance," unlike Milan that seems to get tired when playing at a fast pace, Etoile Sahel have that velocity that might be determined in the last minutes --- if there is a tough match between Etoile and Milan -- Here is where Milan can profit from KAKA's velocity and impromptu SOLO RUN. The grinta/drive of GENNARO GATTUSO will be an extra energy shot for Milan. As far as technics, Milan takes the lean over Etoile, having more technically skilled players, such as Kaka, Maldini, Nesta, Ambrosini, Pirlo, and Inzaghi.

Pachuca not that much, yet, it might be a surprise if goalkeeper Miguel Calero is really in shape.  Calero is just returning from injury. I hope our MILAN GOALKEEPER DIDA will be at his top level.  Argentinian Christian Cacho Jimenez is another player that might change the match in a second. Tough test for Pachuca, winners of the CONCACAF will be the opening match against Etoile Sahel.  If PACHUCA  wins this opening match, then, I will say "Watch out."  They might be among the top four teams.

Yes you are right. Milan need to rediscover the passion and determination they had in the Semi-final and Final of the Champions League. with that, we will win it and be on top of the World again

I'm fine milanista. Sure, I agree with you and Pietro and MILAN MUST, and I highlight it, MUST REDISCOVER the CHAMPION DNA to start shining again. We are MILAN, not an "amateur" team like Pietro said.

Simply put, here is the equation:

2007 UEFA Super Cup + UEFA Champions Leage = AC MILAN

Milan99, that's the only sour note for Milan: not doing well in the Serie A. Let's not lose hope because Milan might get an inspiration after winning this final and with the recovery of Maldini, Ronaldo and incorporation of Pato, we might see the rebirth of Milan!
    Don't you think?
