France Coach Raymond Domenech Said "I DON'T LIKE PANUCCI, BUT I THANK HIM ANYWAY"

Latest comment of France Coach Raymond Domenech just increased his "non grata persona" among many Italians. After Italian Defender and AS Roma Christian Panucci delivered the winning goal in the 90th minute for the EURO 2008 Qualifying Scotland 1 - 2 Italy giving Italy and automatically France the qualification, there is a surprising reaction from France Coach Raymond Domenech.
Domenech said in an interview today, "I don't like Panucci much but I thank him anyway." Hey, is not that PANUCCI will not sleep after hearing Domenech's comments.
Who cares about Domenech in Italy when Italians are celebrating their very own victory?
Domenech added, "Italy's result doesn't bother me as we are preparing for our game with Ukraine on Wednesday." Well, France result at this point, it won't bother Italians either!
The animosity between Domenech and Panucci goes back to 2001 when Panucci was playing for Monaco. Some of his remarks on Panucci includes:

Anna you just answered his answers, and thank you for saying what I feel toward this coach(can't say bad words, because I have respect, wish this person doesn't deserve) Italians are great there is only troublemaker in the Italian team which is Materazzi. I never liked him nor will I ever do.Any other player in the Italian team is just awesome

Domenech is a troublemaker. What about his ridiculous comments a month ago about the (was it U21?) tournament a few years ago in which the Italians allegedly cheated. They asked him to present evidence to support his statement and he of course could not. The man is a jerk and deserves no respect, plain and simple.

Kenntak, I've never seen a coach like Domenech in my whole life. I've started to be a fan in late 2004 and started watching games in 2006, but a coach like him never seen and wouldn't want to see. Jerk is the word to describe him, how in the world did he became a coach???
