The Italian National team and Under 21 will wear a black armband in sign of respect for the death of Lazio fan Gabriele Sandri.

For the EURO 2008 Qualifying Match Scotland - Italy, the Italian National team will wear a black armband in sign of respect for the death of Lazio fan Gabriele Sandri.

The Under 21's will also wear a black armband in the Italy-Azerbaijan match on Friday at Fermo.

The request from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) received the approval from UEFA, at a moment where its president Michel Platini expressed preoccupation for the increase in violence, requesting an intervention from Europe to stop to violence, but also admitting he is perplexed by the idea of stopping the league.
