Italy Not Winning in Scotland, Can Italy Win this time for the EURO 2008 Qualifications Scotland - Italy?
By Anna Italia

You might have a double thought if cheering for ITALY. Records indicate that Italy has not been able to beat Scotland in their stadium.
I took this picture while watching "SKY SPORTS NEWS" and wanted to share with you the graphic. Any of you watch Sky Sports on Fox Soccer Channel?
Sure, as an Italian fan, I hope this time Italian Head Coach Roberto Donadoni can break this record with a solid formation.
I will say instead of playing a "defensive match" known as 'il catenaccio," Italy should play more offensive and score in the first 15 minutes.
Midfielder will be crucial. If the "Milan combo" are fit and playing together as midfielder: Genaro Gattuso, Massimo Ambrosini, and Andrea Pirlo, it will be a great help to create goal opportunities.
I might say that forward Luca Toni can convert opportunities of goal with Andrea Pirlo's long-range crosses.
Gattuso with his speed and ability to fool the defense can help an alert Toni. Hope he controls his character and don't get a yellow card for protesting.
Not sure whether Donadoni will play with 2 forwards, which is my suggestion.
My concern right now is with Italy's defense, especially with Massimo Oddo, who has not been that concentrated lately. This match is crucial not only for Italy, but for players themselves to prove themselves once and for all as "true world cup champions."
I only hope goalkeeper Gigi Buffon be able to stop Scotland from scoring.
Will it be possible? Can Italy break this record of not winning in Scotland?

of course they could, but the thing is that I hope what happened in Italy doesn't effect their play but encourage them to win.

Milan99 I think it will be a motivation. I am looking for a victory with more than 2 goals. So, I'm with Pietro's prediction... I will go even further, more than 3 goals...

I hope they do get a victory. Sadly playing out Italy is better for the players as captain Cannavaro said
