dinner to watch our favorite soccer matches!
I look forward for your comments, predictions, latest news... let's roll the ball and shout GOOOOAAALL

Ciao Anna, it sounds great! An entire day to enjoy good football. I am bringing a virtual bottle of wine and you can make the Spaghettis, maybe milanista or Milan99 can prepare a "milanese steak."
Argentia - Chile, will go for Argentina
Colombia - Brazil, will go for Brazil.
Group B
Italy - Georgia = will go for Italy
and you?
Reply to this
Oh yes loved your last sentence

Hello Pietro!
Make sure you get RED WINE, preferably a Chianti Classico to enjoy our soccer matches.
Here are my predictions:
Uruguay - Bolivia = URUGUAY
Argentina - Chile = ARGENTINA
Ecuador - Venezuela = ECUADOR
Peru - Paraguay = PARAGUAY
Colombia - Brazil = ABSOLUTELY BRAZIL
UEFA Group B
Italy - Georgia = ITALY!!!
UEFA Group F
Liechtenstein - Sweden= SWEDEN
UEFA Group G
Romania - Netherland = DRAW (or Holland for SEEDORF)
UEFA Group E
Croatia - Israel = CROATIA (for Dario Simic)
Reply to this
Hey Anna I agree with you on the winners but the Romania vs Netherlands, I'd say win for Netherlands cause I actually like their playing( except the world cup game against Portugal for that game was horrible)
Reply to this
D'accordo Anna, I will get the Chianti Classico as long as you prepare the Spaghetti, aglio e pepperoncino. I will join you and Milan99 to cheer for Argentina and Brazil.
Reply to this
Hey Pietro!!! Glad to hear you'll cheer for Argentina and Brasil
Reply to this
Va bene Pietro... I can handle the Spaghetti, aglio e pepperoncino. I am hungry already.

How to tie my comments to the Serie A? What's convenient for Portugal to get a 2nd place:
Armenia - Serbia= I hope Armenia beats Serbia so Portugal stays 3rd "if it comes to worse." So, Int er's Stankovic better not shine. Although their goalkeeper Stojkovic is exceptional with Sporting Lisboa and was against Portugal. So, tough- hope for a draw.
Azerbaijan- Portugal -
Força Portugal! I don't want another draw! 3 consecutive draws is enough. Unfortunately, the Serie A has been bad luck for the 4 portuguese players. They don't get playing time or get injuries.
Examples: left-back Antunes doesn't play with la Roma, Mancini is just too good. He still got called up for the sub-21. La Seleçao can't depend on right -backs to play left back.
Tiago played very little with Juve, only I think 2 matches. Not too bad of a loss because there are equally talented alternatives like Veloso and Meireles. The real loss is Juve's Jorge Andrade. Carvalho's back from more than a month away due to injury, meaning not match-fit. The Carvalho -Andrade partnership is the best because they understand each other better than ALves-and the other guy. Costinha out for injury too, forgot what Serie A club he's in.
Poland - Kazakhstan- I hope Poland loses or draws. Realistically Poland is going to win, so keep your number 1 place. Belgium - Finland Belgium better beat Finland.

Ricardo I love Portugal from the beginning but I was just kidding with you sense we share fave on something we rarely something

Hey Milan99, what a day tomorrow! Italy, Argentina, Brazil.. all our favorite teams!
I agree, we will support PORTUGAL too. I bet Ricardo15 will be watching the match. By the way... don't forget to add something to the virtual menu as suggested by Pietro... I can handle the spaghettis...
ITALIA, ITALIA, ITALIA, ITALIA!!!
ARGENTINA... ARGENTINA .. ARGENTINAAA
BRAZILLL BRAZIIILLL BRAZIILLLLL
Reply to this
Thanks Anna, I hope they all win with also Portugal and Netherlands. About the Menu I totally suck It doesn't matter to me what I eat as long as I see a great match. But while watching a game I'd usually eat snack, well it depends on when the game will be on
Reply to this
Milan 99,
How in the world did you know I'd be rooting for Portugal? lol
Reply to this
I'm smart enough to figure it out
Reply to this
Ricardo15 we assume you were Portugal fans for your enthusiasm and comments especially for Antunes.
Reply to this
Anna Italia,
You forgot your predictions for Group A!
For Croatia- Israel= 1-2 Israel for Chelsea's Ben-haim
Reply to this
Hey Chels fan??? Nice they are the best in EPL
Reply to this
And in the Superliga? FC Porto, Benfica, or Sporting Lisboa?
Reply to this
Hard question??? I don't follow it much but Benfica is the best for me
Reply to this
I know the superliga is not popular here.
Reply to this
You are right but Portugal play nice fotbul in national, also in club form but the thing is not much advertisements going on for the league
Reply to this
AS Roma fan
I enjoy reading your comments on the Portugal national team
Reply to this
Thank you Ricardo, I only said the truth about Portugal
Reply to this
Yes it was a great game and Croatia are displaying good football.
Reply to this
Thanks Ricardo15,
Here are my predictions for Group A
Armenia - Serbia=SERBIA (for Stankovic)
Azerbaijan - Portugal= PORTUGAL(Pele)
Poland - Kazakhstan = POLAND
Belgium - Finland= DRAW
By the way Ricardo15, Portugal Under 21 lost... and guess what... your famous Antunes and no difference. Therefore, that's why he needs to mature to be included among the titolari in AS Roma.
Reply to this
Anna Italia
I disagree with you on the Antunes point about "needs to mature." It's ok. I'll leave it at that.
Reply to this
Hey Ricardo15, it's ok, we can disagree. Maybe I am wrong about Antunes because I have not seeing him play often with AS Roma. Let's hope AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti gives him more chance to play.
Reply to this
Milan99, cool we share similar teams. Milan, Brazil, Argentina, after all they are the best.
Reply to this
Oh yes they are
Reply to this
Hello Milan 99, Yes, you are right. I notice many of us like the same teams, that is awesome! Even if we disagree, we still respect others opinions, that is even better, don't you think so?
Reply to this
Of course Anna plus if we all agree on everything it won't won't be cool, and its nice knowing others opinion and they might get you into there idea??? having the same opinion just make us the same its cool having different opinions

buon giorno Anna. Checking your soccer updates, incredible Slovaka 7-0 San Marino. I hope Italy have the same luck against Georgia. What did you have for breakfast to start seeing football?
Reply to this
Anna scotland won 2-1 and France 3-0, it means Italy must win and better with a 2-0 or 4-1.
Reply to this
France now beating Fareo 5-0
Reply to this
Buon giorno Pietro, I am just going crazy with many updates. Goals are just coming and coming and coming. Have not finished my cappucino. Indeed, cannot believe it. Faroe 0 -5 France, and Scotland 3...
Now, I am getting nervous. I agree with you, Italy better win with more than 3 goals to keep goals difference higher.
Reply to this

Reply to this
Hey Pietro sorry but i'm more worried about Argentina and Brasil???

Reply to this
Anna those are the games you want to watch, were there would be too much scoring going on, CONGRATS FRANCE
Reply to this
Anna now l'Italia must win, like Ricardo15 said it should win at home.
Reply to this
Incredible Pietro. France and Scotland won more than convincingly. I agree with you and Ricardo15, now Italy must win, I would say a 4-0.
Reply to this
I saw it on Rai INternational TV and agree with Fabio Capello's commentary at the end of the match. He said that the Italy players need to do what the manager says on the pitch but also to be free to change attitude and play to win the game. It didn't look like th players went out of their way to win the game, is what he told Buffon in the post-match interview. I think that with the change of attitude, they could have won 4 nil. I liked the attitude of the Georgians, they believed they could tie or win the game til the very last minute. aggressive til the end! Talk about pride, and they weren't even playign at home! Anyway, Allez les bleus
Reply to this
Totally agree with Capello's commentary. I share your views on Italian players not going their way out to win the match convincingly. Buffon said the truth. I am already tired of seeing a "mediocre Italy." I want the TRUE ITALY CHAMPIONS back.. displaying quality football.
I respect your allez les bleus, but in my case, I will say "FORZA AZZURRI."
Reply to this
ALL RESPECT ANNA ALL RESPECT FROM ME AND I'M SURE FROM RICARDO TOO

No, I'm not a fan of Futebol Clube do Porto. I'm a fan the players who play in la Selecao from Porto so Quaresma, meireles, Bruno ALves, Bosingwa and Postiga I follow Benfica closely though- ever since the Fonseca went to play there.
Reply to this
Oh ok I'm sorry, but you know what I'm sorry to know Simao left, but its was nice to know he choose Atletico de Madrid

What a disappointment seeing a draw in the 2010 World Cup Qualifyer match Colombia 0 - 0 Brazil. I was expecting a "goleada" by Brazil
Reply to this
I know and they expect to be CHAMPS how will they if they don't try???
Reply to this
Anna and Milan99 agree with you guys how can Brazil expect to be CHAMPS without giving their best try. Kaka did not shine but Inter goalkeeper played a great match, what do you guys think of Julio Cesar?
Reply to this
He was great!!! I remember reading at Iter.it that he really want to be first GK for Brasil and become Champs with them, the way he puts it made me feel it and hope it does come true, playing well with Brasil at that game made me think he is glad to be there and hope Brasil hope him all the best
