How to tie my comments to the Serie A?  What's convenient for Portugal to get a 2nd place:
    Armenia - Serbia
= I hope Armenia beats Serbia so Portugal stays 3rd "if it comes to worse." So, Int er's Stankovic better not shine. Although their goalkeeper Stojkovic is exceptional with Sporting Lisboa and was against Portugal. So, tough- hope for a draw.

    Azerbaijan- Portugal -
Força Portugal! I don't want another draw! 3 consecutive draws is enough. Unfortunately, the Serie A has been bad luck for the 4 portuguese players. They don't get playing time or get injuries.
Examples: left-back Antunes doesn't play with la Roma, Mancini is just too good. He still got called up for the sub-21. La Seleçao can't depend on right -backs to play left back.
Tiago played very little with Juve, only I think 2 matches. Not too bad of a loss because there are equally talented alternatives like Veloso and Meireles. The real loss is Juve's Jorge Andrade. Carvalho's back from more than a month away due to injury, meaning not match-fit. The Carvalho -Andrade partnership is the best because they understand each other better than ALves-and the other guy. Costinha out for injury too, forgot what Serie A club he's in.

Poland - Kazakhstan- I hope Poland loses or draws. Realistically Poland is going to win, so keep your number 1 place.   Belgium - Finland Belgium better beat Finland.

By the way Ricardo15, Portugal Under 21 lost... and guess what... your famous Antunes and no difference. Therefore, that's why he needs to mature to be included among the titolari in AS Roma.

I saw it on Rai INternational TV and agree with Fabio Capello's commentary at the end of the match. He said that the Italy players need to do what the manager says on the pitch but also to be free to change attitude and play to win the game. It didn't look like th players went out of their way to win the game, is what he told Buffon in the post-match interview. I think that with the change of attitude, they could have won 4 nil. I liked the attitude of the Georgians, they believed they could tie or win the game til the very last minute. aggressive til the end! Talk about pride, and they weren't even playign at home! Anyway, Allez les bleus !

Anna and Milan99 agree with you guys how can Brazil expect to be CHAMPS without giving their best try. Kaka did not shine but Inter goalkeeper played a great match, what do you guys think of Julio Cesar?

He was great!!! I remember reading at Iter.it that he really want to be first GK for Brasil and become Champs with them, the way he puts it made me feel it and hope it does come true, playing well with Brasil at that game made me think he is glad to be there and hope Brasil hope him all the best
