Striker Luca Toni "We Must Absolutely Win Against Georgia to Get the 3 Points" on EURO 2008 Qualifyer Match Italy - Georgia
Although many are calling striker Luca Toni as the savior of Italy, Toni refused this statement. Yet, he admits feeling the responsibility to play well for his country, the one he misses so much now that he is playing in Germany for Bayern Munich.Unquestionably, Luca Toni resembles a symbol of hope for the Italian National team that desperately need goals to win covincingly. Thus, Toni who has socred 11 goals in 10 games, is seen as the lucky charm for the 2006 FIFA World Cup champions.
The challenge is for Italian Head coach Roberto Donadoni to take advantage of Luca toni's ability to score and make him play. Ideally, Toni can be part of the starting line up. In Rai Sports, as reported by Marco Civoli, Toni is displaying excellent football quality and has the drive to lead the team to victory.
I agree with Luca Toni that Italy must win the match, then, worry about how the rest of the group did. The most important thing for Italy is to rely on their own results and start playing convincingly. Italy is now in second place with 20 points just 1 point behind the leader Scotland, and only 1 point ahead of France with 19 points.
Toni adds that the team wants to win, just like they wanted to win in Berlin during the final of the World Cup. 
If Donadoni opts for the 4-3-3 formation, then the attack will rely on Quaglairella, Toni, and Di Natale.
However, I won't disqualify the option for a 4-4-2 with Luca Toni and Vincenzo Iaquinta. As Toni mentions, Iaquinta reminds him of his teammate in Bayern Munich Miroslav Klose. It means, it will be easier for Toni to play with Iaquinta. Nevertheless, Donadoni should try all options and see where he finds more effectivity.
However, not only the responsibilty rely on Toni and Di Natale, but on the whole team as a group.
If midfielders do not help forwards, how can they score?
Same with the defense, if they do not protect the net, how can they keep a clean score. Therefore, team unity and harmony is what Italian Head coach need to help Toni and Di Natale score. Hopefully, Italy will win with more than 1 goal difference and winning convincingly.

He should score, I'm hoping for goals from him, Gila and lets say another Milan player. Milan players need to prove themselves with goal, with Italy.

Milan99, milan playes should display quality football, especially from the midfield area with Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Ambrossini and the great Andrea Pirlo. Let's not forget our defense with Massimo Oddo and Daniele Bonera. SO GO ITALY!!!! Let's go get the 3 points!

Yes Anna you are right but fans need to see goals to say"YOU ARE THE BEST AND DESERVE TO BE CHAMPS", and that what Italy need to win by a big difference in goals and of course skill.
