International Friendly Match: Athletic Bilbao - AC Milan on Friday, October 12

By Anna Italia

Aside from the much awaited match for the EURO 2008 Qualifications Italy - Georgia on Saturday with 5 Milan players, AC Milan will play a friendly match with the Basque team Athletic Bilbao, coached by Joaquin Caparros, on Friday night at the Stadio San Mamés at 20:45.

The match with AC Milan is the third friendly match of Athletic Bilbao. In the first two, Athletic beat Fiorentina 3-0 on August 18, and drew 1-1 on September 19  against Real Sociedad.

Although, Milan will not count with 8 players of the so-called first team Kaka, Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Oddo, Massimo Ambrosini, Dario Simic, and Daniele Bonera, it will be interesting  to see how well AC MILAN do after their spectacular comeback when beating Lazio 1 - 5 AC Milan in the Olimpico.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti still has top first team players available, including Alessandro Nesta, Filippo Inzaghi, Nelson Dida, Alberto Gilardino. If playing, the question is whether  Gilardino will keep scoring? Let's hope so for his morale and the team morale.

This is a game I've been waiting for. Milan without Kaka' and Seedorf. The Ultimate test of strength and character for AC Milan! I expect one goal from Gila and another one from Filippo Inzaghi. I'm going to hear this game on http://www.marca.com/radiomarca/. Hope they comment it.
