ACF Fiorenitna, currently in the 4th position of the Serie A 2007 - 2007, have 10 players representing their respective national teams in the UEFA 2008 European competition and Under 21 in October 2007. This is a great honor for ACF Fiorentina because it resembles their growing power in the international level.
No doubt that Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli has been doing a great job. The ten proud Fiorentina players are Alessandro Gamberini, Riccardo Montolivo, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Vlada Avramov, Anthony Vanden Borren, Tomas Ujfalusi, Ondrej Mazuch, Arturo Lupolli, Sebastien Frey, and Adrian Mutu.
Notably, two viola players, Alessandro Gamberini and Riccardo Montolivo, are called by Italian Head coach Roberto Donadoni for the Italy - Georgia match. Interesting, the two viola goalkeepers Sebastien Frey and Vlada Avramov are also called by their respective countries, France and Serbia.
