Both teams are on the pitch and Referee Nicola Rizzoli  whistles the start of the match!
Let's roll the ball!

1' AS Roma start with a surprising spring from Brazilian Amantino Mancini. He just wins a free kick. Who was the best player?
Which player disappointed you?
Were the substitutions  effective?

It appears the tension between Mancini and Figo has disappeared, don't you think?

How would you rate Luis Figo's performance?
Did his substitute Pele make a difference?

    Anna what a match!
    1. Best player Hernan Crespo
    2. Disappointed me Francesco Totti
    3. Substitution not effective for Roma, the score says it clear Roma 1 - 4 Inter !
    4. I think it was a ONE TEAM show, a great match verifying Inter as the leader. Can you believe that rumors were that Mourinho was coming to Inter? Roberto Mancini is doing his homework, great for him. Do you agree?

      Pietro,
Amazing how Crespo can make a difference in such a short time! La Roma just looked limp and with no self-belief from minute 70 to 90. It's as if they really didn't believe they could at least put up a fight. I wonder how it would be if Giuly had stayed on the whole game.

You are right Ricardo15. Crespo DID MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.. even scoring! Giuly made a TERRIBLE mistake. Incredible! I was speechless. He created a big whole and granted a penalty to Inter. Sure, Ibrahimovic just took advantage and the rest you know... it's history Roma 1 - 4 Inter!

Hello Pietro. Indeed, it was a great match especially for Inter fans. I was expecting a tight match, maybe a draw. Though, FC Inter won CONVINCINGLY, no doubt about it.
    1. I think Luis Figo was the best player. He made the difference with his 2 assists!
    2. Yes, Totti also disappointed me. At least one goal from him was expected.
    3. Definitely, changes for AS Roma did not work. Inter substitution were more effective starting with the great Argentinian striker HERNAN CRESPO!
    4. Yes, I can say it was a ONE TEAM SHOW. Neither Toti nor Ibrahimovic were the stars, but the whole group as a team. Ibrahimovic did score, but it was a penalty kick.

Mourinho in INTER? Not at this point. Though, I won't disqualify the idea. Yet, I rather see him with Juventus.

Very satisfied with Figo's performance! 2 assists! So many fouls on him. The foul De Rossi did on Figo in the second half deserved a yellow card.
It was disappointing in the second half to see Roma not "pressing" Inter players. Roma had to pick itself up and behave like a big team. They WERE at home after all.

The sub that was disappointing was Cicinho. He lost possession of the ball too often. This match proved who the big team is. It's not just results. It also comed down to mental strength.

Antunes not even on the bench? Is he at least playing with the reserves or what?

Hi Ricardo15! I am also satisfied with Luis Figo's performance. He made two assists!!!! It seems he does not get old but younger. His technique is brilliant. A real joy watching him play.

Indeed, your famous player ANTUNES was not even on the bench. ROMA disappointed me big time!

You bet they MUST WIN! It would be CATASTROPHIC losing against CATANIA. Definitely, INTER DESERVES all honors for winning convincingly!

I think PELE still has to learn. He did not convince me. However, CRESPO, as a substitute MADE A DIFFERENCE. That's maturity!

Hopefully, ROMA will not lose against Manchester United again on Tuesday!

I forgot- one substitute that was effective was Crespo! A few minutes into the game and bam a goal! Will he be the "super sub" until December? If Dacourt didn't pick up a knock, would Crespo have even played?

Suri, it was a disaster! I watched the game and believe me, it was a total disappointment. Our beloved TOTTI was not the strong gladiator needed to win the match, instead, Luis FIGO became a TIGER, A LION!

Exactly, NEVER EXPECTED... losing at the Olimpico with more than 1 goal difference??!!!

Hey, but come on.. let's cheer up each other.. my MILAN did not do that well either...another draw with a miserable 1 goal.

I was only able to watch the game until a little after the first goal and then my cable mercifully went out. As you probably know, I am a Totti fan, but his poor corner kick started the implosion. It gave Inter that break away which of course ended with Guily being red carded. A very poor set of plays that pretty much doomed the game for Roma.
