Saudi Arabian Prince Is the JUVENTUS fan buying the Juve Space Shirts Signed by Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved
By Anna Italia
Juventus, the Vecchia Signora, always making history.
Let me tell you this interesting story from a not so common Juventus fan.
In a historical date, April 28, the two shirts signed by Pavel Nedved and Alessandro Del Piero became the first football shirts in the world to go into outer space!
Those very two shirts, were auctioned off to raise funds for the children of the Sant'Anna Hospital in Turin.
Guess what happened at the auction. Incredible, at the very last minute, His Royal Highness, the Saudi Arabian Prince Turki Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was the person who won the auction.
This is why for a fan the items from their favorite team have no price. It results that the Saudi Arabian Prince is a Juventus fan!
The Prince followed the sale on JuveStore.com because he wanted to buy the "historical space jerseys with the signature of his favorite players: Pavel Nedved and Juventus Captain Alessandro Del Piero, the world most recognized symbol of Juventus.
The Prince received a special welcome to thank him, also on behalf of Sant'Anna's children, just before the season debut against Livorno. Incredible so, the Juve-Livorno marked the debut of the return of Juventus to Serie A. Juve beat Livorno 5-1.
Sure, the Prince might be a Prince, but at that moment I am sure he enjoyed receiving the shirts as A JUVENTUS FAN by none others than by the Captain Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved themselves. Shirts were delivered at the Principi di Piemonte Hotel pre-match retreat, in front of the Chairman of the RealDream Association (the association that organized the space launch).
As Juventus website informs, afterwards, the Prince visited Juventus' headquarters and in particular the prestigious Trophy Room, where he met Managing Director Jean Claude Blanc in an atmosphere of great friendliness. What a trip for a Juve fan!
But wait, this unforgettable day did not finish here. If I only were that special fan with that amount of money, or even you! The Royal Juventus fan even wet to the Juventus Store in Via Garibaldi. He got some more Juve items to take back home. To end the day, he was guest of the Club for the evening's match against Livorno, which marked the historical return of Juventus to Serie A with a "goleada" 5-1.
Hey, not that bad for a fan, isn't it?

Hey Milan99, indeed, it's all about money. Though, enjoying our favorite Italian soccer teams has no price. Technology offers us the advantage to see the games live in different part of the world... by the way.. I love to meet KAKA. For me, as a Milan fan, meeting and talking to SHEVA was a dream come true. Now, I have to meet PAOLO MALDINI, DEL PIERO, ROBERTO BAGGIO.
