EURO 2008 Qualifiers Italy Arrived in Kiev for the Moment of Truth: Ukraine - Italy match

Finally, the Italian National team arrived in Kiev, Ukraine at lunchtime, after leaving Malpensa airport in the morning.
Italian head coach Roberto Donadoni did the last practice session in the afternoon at the Olimpiyskiy stadium. Donadoni observed the fitness level of Andrea Pirlo, Gianluca Zambrotta, Christian Panucci and Daniele De Rossi, who were risking their participation for fitness problems. All four took part in the last
practice session.
"The atmosphere is rather serene - said the head of the Italian delegation, Gigi Riva.
Riva said that "We are coming from the match against France where they were in better condition and we had some important players absent. Obviously we have to improve against Ukraine. We have to go on the field to win, but if we risk losing, it won't be a bad idea to try and control the result".
