Is Sheva Returning to MILAN or Going to his home team Dynamo Kiev?

By Anna Italia

Updated: April 9, 2008
Milan President Silvio Berlusconi confirmed again his desire to bring back "il figlio prodigo"  Andriy Shevchenko back to Milan.

Berlusconi said in the Italian channel LA7 that he was doing everything to bring back Sheva.

It's no secret that Berlusconi always wanted Sheva to remain with Milan.  It was SHEVA who betrayed not only Berlusconi but all MILAN fans when deciding to sign for Chelsa a mega contrat of 30 million pounds in 2006.

Last year, the Daily Mirror  reported on Aug. 24 that Dynamo Kiev are trying to sign their former striker Andriy Shevchenko ON LOAN from Chelsea.

Like many Milan fans, I have mixed feelings on the return to Sheva.

Milan right now needs FIT, YOUNG strikers to score.  Sure, SHEVA with his football technique ald already proven team coordination might work again for Milan.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti knows how to have the winning formation with SHEVA.

Do I want to see SHEVA being the protagonist again with Milan? YES!

Question is whether SHEVA will rather go to his home team in Ukraine or will prefer to end his career with Milan, if giving a last opportunity to amend his HUGE MISTAKE.

"I told Sheva in person TWICE that his place
was in Milan and how he hurt Milan fans with
his sudden departure.
Time is giving me the reason (la ragione),

says Anna"

wow Anna Italia you met Andriy Shevchenko and talked to him. I envy you. Sheva is my top soccer player and I would love to have an opportunity to meet him, was he nice to you?

I am not a Milan fan but a Juventus fan and definitely i think Andriy should go back to AC Milan and be his best. Mourinho does not respect him at all, he does not like him, there is no good relationship coach-player.

I am reading your posts and this Sunday JUVE will win, my old lady is back in Serie A.

Ciao Pietro, certo che parlo Italiano.

About Sheva... If he has to choose Dynamo Kiev or Milan, I think my preference will be for him to choose AC MILAN.

I think Ronaldo will shine again. He has matured as a person. Most important, he believes in himself.

Hope he keeps his fitness program commitment.

    Hello Charles,

I am so happy for you Juve fans. Although my team is AC Milan, I feel for la vecchia signora too. Juve players were not responsible for Calciopoli.

My special admiration for Alessandro Del Piero and Gigi Buffon.

... now, about SHEVA.. Yes, he was very nice. I was wearing my MILAN jersey and went to see Chelsea's training 3 days. Every day I waited for SHEVA and he kindly stop to take photos and sign most of my Milan memorabilia. We talked in Italian, and he was never rude when I told him that Milan was his home.

I must say that Mourinho was also extremely nice.. imagine with his character and seeing me with a Milan shirt... yet, we took some photos too.

Sheva wasn't in the squad for the game against Portsmouth. Not too sure what is happening and the transfer deadline is at the end of the week.

      Andy,
Unfortunately, it's painfully clear Mourinho doesn't want him in the squad. As a Chelsea supporter, I don't like it when Mourinho says publicly that he's not satisfied with Sheva. In the first half of Chelsea-Blackburn, Sheva didn't look too confident. I think it's the Manager's job to know how to motivate and instill self-belief in STAR players like Sheva. I respect Sheva but I don't think Mourinho does, at least publicly. Sheva needs to go to a team where he gets respect and no negative comments by its manager. Yes, I think he needs to leave Chelsea.  Ricardo15

    Hello Andy,

Well, the Sheva-Mourinho is never ending. Let's see what happens until the transfer deadline.

I just want SHEVA to do well and score many goals as he did in the past with MILAN.

I agree, is already late for SHEVA to return to Milan. Kaka and Pato are younger and full of energy. Sheva is paying his mistake for abandoning "his home," for new "horizons." Right?

Mohamed, before i wanted Sheva to return after asking forgiveness but I see you point. Is already late for him because Milan needs young players like Pato.

I don't think Sheva will work at the same level and not sure whether it is what Milan needs.

What about the rumors of Ronaldinho coming? now Sheva? what's going on with you milanisti?

Again the never ending return of Sheva to Milan? Man, i wish Berlusconi finally take a firm decision whether bringing him back or not. If the guy was looking for a house in Milan, that's enough reason to think that he might return to Milan. What's your take?

Mark, it will be a whole conflict having Ronaldinho, Sheva, plus KAKA... If this happens, I only wish their respective EGO wont' get in their way to help the team.

If I have to choose between Ronaldinho and Sheva, I WILL PICK SHEVA because there is already team understanding.  SHEVA will return to be the GREAT SHEVCHENKO because Coach Ancelotti will form the team around SHEVA like he did in the past.  If it worked before, it might work again and even better with a more experienced KAKA.  Plus Pato....
